Explaining the intricate Medicare benefits and policies to beneficiaries and their families and health care providers is a challenging task. GAL was engaged to assess and improve their current methods for providing training to information partners across the country. We interviewed stakeholders, did an expert review of their training design and delivery processes, and created a multi-year strategic plan that recommended new methods to streamline the development of more flexible and individualized information modules. We recently have been engaged to help them with succession planning for key roles in the organization, developing future scenarios for work and attracting the best talent in a rapidly changing workforce environment.
